Coiled Beauties

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Coiled baskets and bowls are great to have and give. Lisa’s are meticulously finished. Learn from a master the techniques needed to make yours.
Cotton clothesline, with narrow strips of fabrics wound around it, is stitched in a spiral. The final shape may be flat or curved (in the shape of a bowl or basket, for example). Batiks are preferred, but quality cottons work well too. Fabrics with stripes, polka dots, large prints, pretty colors, etc., are great candidates.
