Not Your Grandmothers Log Cabin

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Traditional Log Cabin blocks take on an entirely new dynamic when turned into triangles.  Using the book Not Your Grandmother's Log Cabin, you will begin by exploring design possibilities, colors and fabric choices in the first session.  As a benefit, Dana will cut your fabric strips before the second class.  This service is free to students who purchase their fabrics in the first class.  (Fabrics purchased elsewhere may be cut for a $25.00 fee.)  The accuracy of this cutting is wonderful.  In the following sessions, blocks will be constructed and quilt to assembly started.  Purchase the book early to get ideas and inspiration.
