Seven Elements of Design (At The Quilt Works)

The seven fundamental elements of design are shape, color, space, form, line, value, and texture.  We will look at these and how artists use them in the art world.  We will then create a “sketch” using each of these seven elements.  One or more of these sketches will be interpreted into a fused fabric collage.  Your completed fabric collage and sketches can be used as inspiration for future works of art.
