CLASS DESCRIPTION
Learn how to make log cabin blocks using Judy Niemeyer’s foundation paper piecing technique, then add a twist by using a cut-out arc that is also foundation paper pieced. This class teaches you these techniques starting with the Lincoln Log Cabin pattern. Carol will show how to take advantage of this technique to produce a larger quilt. It is directly applicable to The Beach House, Osprey’s Nest at the Lake House, and Osprey’s Nest Log Cabin

Dark fabric: 1 yd, or 4 assorted fat quarters
Light fabric: 1 yd, or 4 assorted fat quarters

45mm rotary cutter with new blade
#70 microtex needles

2½” x 12” ruler
18” Add-a-Quarter ruler
12”-18” x 2” template-weight plastic folding template
50wt thread to match or blend with fabrics
Repositionable glue stick
Soluble glue stick (Fons & Porter or equivalent)
