Quilted Coats from Reclaimed Quilts (At The Quilt Works)

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students will chose between the Jules Chore Coat or the Elise Cropped Coat from Reclaimed Quilts by Kathleen McVeigh and Dale Donaldson to create a custom quilted jacket. Students will have an opportunity to show off their creations in an optional, casual fashion show during the Quilt Sew Late session following their last class. Note: Fabric is not required until the second meeting day.
CLASS MODELS

FABRIC REQUIREMENT
Since every student will be making a custom jacket, required fabric will vary depending on the project. We will need roughly a 36” x 100” rectangle of finished quilt top by the second class. This is a great way to use spare blocks or those perpetual UFOs

PATTERNS & BOOKS
Reclaimed Quilts by Kathleen McVeigh and Dale Donaldson and any other specific patterns students want to adapt into a quilted jacket. Please chose between the Jules Chore Coat or the Elise Cropped Coat and have those pattern pages printed by the first class
